Whale Watching 12 hours $3500
In their seasonal migration stage between July and October, the Panamanian Pacific coast is a privileged enclave for observing cetaceans, particularly humpback or humpback whales.
Year after year, tourists and professional observers seek strategic locations worldwide to view specimens of this impressive species with great curiosity.
Panama is fortunate to be one of the few areas where it is possible to witness this spectacle of enormous magnitude. The warmth of its waters and the abundant food found are the perfect environments for mating and breeding these majestic creatures.

Seen from our boat, the whales have a colossal size and allow us to enjoy a masterful act that begins from the time they emerge from the depths of the sea until they jump, after which many of them remain floating in the sun for minutes or hours—incomplete relaxation.
Another of the big questions about humpback whales is the origin of the song that the males of this species emit, a complex melody that they can repeat over and over again for hours. We do not know exactly if they do it to get a mate or to communicate among them; but ultimately, they make this little glimpse into their world even more memorable.
WHAT IS THE BEST TIME FOR WHALE WATCHING?
Humpback whales begin to move from the South in January to March; they swim to feed and recharge their fat deposits on cold coasts and high latitudes such as those of Chile and Antarctica, this action allows them to have enough energy for their long journey to lower margins, for example, the warm coasts of Panama, Costa Rica or Peru where they give birth, raise their young and mate.
Around 2,000 specimens of these cetaceans pass through the Panamanian coast between July and October; some stragglers can stay until November and early December. However, smaller humpback whales from the North Arctic visit Panama from January to March
TOUR DURATION
This journey lasts approximately 12 hours. In addition to being lucky enough to see some whales expelling air through their spiracles or making some iconic jumps, we can also stop at the crystal clear beaches of Isla Chapera for an excellent dip if the weather allows it.
